contact

With this privacy policy we would like to give you clarity about how we handle your data. If you would like to know what personal data we have stored about you, or if you want to change or delete data in accordance with the applicable regulations, please send an email to contact@vendingautomatiser.com. You can also inform us that you no longer agree to provide/process your personal data, to combine it into a profile or to use your data for targeted offers or to receive information and offers by email or post.

Personal data

When we offer products and services, we may process (personal) data of customers, subscribers to our newsletters and visitors/users of our (mobile) websites and other services, such as events and promotions. Depending on the product or service, there are differences in whether and if so which (personal) data we (can) process in this context. If you want to receive an offer, fill out a contact form, receive a newsletter or create an account, we need a working email address. In connection with delivery, a location may be required. However, we need more information to process orders and service requests. An overview of the information requested can be requested via contact@vendingautomatiser.com.

When you are asked to enter your information, you will be shown which information is required to use the service (and therefore must be filled in) and which information is optional.

What data do we collect

Roughly speaking, there are four ways in which we can collect (personal) data:

  • Complete contact form: The personal data you provide, such as name, address, place of residence, email address and your interest, will be processed.
  • Requesting information or products via our (mobile) websites (e.g. requesting an email newsletter or offers): This process processes information that you have provided to us via the website, such as your email address;
  • Creating an account on a (mobile) website: This involves processing the personal data that you provided to us when creating the account/to which you gave us access (when using a social login), such as your email address and (user) name;
  • Use of our (mobile) websites: This process processes information about your use of these (mobile) websites, such as the pages and websites visited in our network, the advertisements displayed and the advertisements you click on. From this information we can derive your potential interests. In addition, (personal) data and information to which you yourself have given us access (e.g. location data) are processed.
    Above is a list of the data we can collect. However, this does not mean that we actually access and store it everywhere. This data therefore ranges from personal data such as name, email address, address and telephone number (data by which you can be directly identified) to information that concerns you but on the basis of which you cannot be directly or indirectly identified. This privacy and cookie policy governs the way in which we handle all this information.

processing purposes

We collect and process personal data for the following purposes, including via the (mobile) websites we operate:

  • for the conclusion and performance of a contract concluded with you;
    to offer, deliver and/or adapt the agreed services, products and/or information to you;
  • to enable you to post and share information on any of the websites or, if the website offers this possibility, to contact other users;
  • to make targeted offers, e.g. by email. As part of optimizing the submission of offers, we can create a profile of you;
  • to send you a newsletter, offer, user information, service message or other electronic message;
  • to analyze, maintain, optimize and secure our (mobile) websites and related technologies and to combat fraud;
  • to comply with the laws and regulations applicable to us and to handle disputes and conduct audits; i. to conduct market research and compile management information for the purposes of product and service development and to determine (general) strategy;
  • In this respect, not all data is always processed for the same purposes. For example, some data is only stored for the purpose of providing the requested service, while others may be used for the purpose of analyzing and improving the use of our websites and to create a targeted offer.
  • In principle, we store your personal data to the extent that this is necessary for the aforementioned purposes or to fulfil legal (storage) obligations. However, there is also data that we use for a shorter period of time due to its relevance or sensitivity, whereas your email data is used indefinitely if, for example, you receive an email newsletter and do not unsubscribe from it.

An overview of the stored data, the purpose and the retention period can be requested via contact@vendingautomatiser.com.

How is data combined and which data?

The main goal of enriching customer data is to better respond to customer needs or to better tailor our advertising policies to your wishes as a unique consumer.

If you fill out a contact form on one of our websites, we may add your data to the cookie used to measure your use of our online services. We do not combine all the data you enter with the online usage information, but we do combine data such as your gender and postcode. In this case, an online profile is then created from this information.

In addition, we may combine customer information you have provided to us with information about the use of our websites. This works as follows: Through the email newsletter, your customer number (in our system) is linked to the unique number of the cookie. We may add your gender and postcode to your cookie profile and add the interests derived from your use of the website to your customer data.

Finally, information from external sources may be added to the data we have processed about you. This is demographic data that we may receive from third parties. This concerns, for example, general data on postcode areas.

If you object to the combination of your personal data, you can inform us via contact@vendingautomatiser.com.

disclosure and disclosure of personal data

Vending Automatiser collects and manages the information provided only for business purposes. Therefore, the data you provide will not be sold/passed on to third parties. Exceptions to this are:

We may share the personal information we process with affiliates and combine it with the information processed by those companies. If you object to this, you can indicate this here.

For the proper operation of the business, it may be necessary to share your data with third parties, such as logistics companies to deliver the products or organizations to assist with customer care. An overview of these organizations can be requested via contact@vendingautomatiser.com.

We can only send you information and offers about products and services by email if you have given us your (clear) consent. It goes without saying that this consent can be revoked by those affected at any time.

In special cases, we may share personal information with third parties without your consent. Special cases include legitimate government requests, subpoenas or court orders, actions to detect or prevent harm or fraud, or actions to ensure the security of our network and services.

The data may also be used to process any complaints, to conduct a customer survey and to provide information about project progress and project-related news.

Non-business data

In addition to the data described and mentioned above, we receive and store specific information, such as application letters / CVs. Depending on this data and the purpose for which it was collected, these documents are not kept for longer than strictly necessary.

cookies

Cookies are simple small text files that are placed on the hard drive or in the memory of your computer/mobile phone/tablet. Cookies cannot harm your computer or the files on it. These cookies are used to make the website work optimally and to provide insights. Based on the insights gained from this, we improve our communications and design products and services that always meet your needs. In addition, we do this for commercial reasons. Please see our cookie policy.

If you have disabled cookies through your browser settings, certain features may not work or you may not be able to use certain services. In any case, you will see the cookie information bar on every page because our websites are not able to store the fact (in a cookie) that you have already visited the website and may even have made a decision about whether or not to accept cookies.

Security

When processing personal data, we always maintain a level of security that is sufficient in accordance with the state of the art to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or loss of personal data. Think of technical and organizational measures (e.g. encryption of the data and limited group of employees who have access to the data, etc.). In addition, the data is protected for the purpose of secure and lawful processing and is only accessible to those employees who have a legitimate professional interest in using and processing this data.

Not only do we strive to prevent data leaks and hacking, but we also have internal procedures in place to intervene quickly and effectively. In addition to internal registration, for example, this is reported to the supervisory authority for personal data and to the data subjects within 24 hours of discovery, in accordance with the obligations of the GDPR. The Dutch Data Protection Authority is responsible for Vending Automatiser.

Special rights for consumers

According to the new GDPR, the consumer has the right to transparency (access to their personal data), to be forgotten (deletion of their data) and to data portability (access and transfer of data to another organization). Financial data is excluded from this, for which legal regulations apply to the storage and processing. Customers can write to Vending Automatiser to view, correct or delete their data. If necessary (and unless the customer informs us otherwise), third parties to whom the personal data is passed on will also be informed of these requests.

Consumers’ rights to object to automated decision-making and the right to object to direct marketing and profiling do not (currently) apply to the organisation. Should this change, the customer will first be asked for permission in writing.

Adjusting, checking, deleting data, etc.

The adjustment, review and modification of data can only be done in writing. To do so, send an email to contact@vendingautomatiser.com with the subject “View/modify/deletion of data”.

Please state your full name, address and place of residence in the message, attach a copy of an identification document so that we can be sure that the information you are requesting actually relates to you and is therefore being sent to the right person (for security reasons, you should note on the copy of your identification document that you are sending it to us and obscure your ID number and photo). If we cannot or cannot fully identify the personal data to which your request for inspection, amendment or deletion relates, we may ask you to specify your request in more detail. We will postpone the execution of your request until you have provided us with the (further) details. After executing your request, we will always send you a confirmation message.

We will let you know as soon as possible after receiving your request whether and how we will comply with your request.

reject requests

Not every request for amendment or deletion will be considered. A request relating to personal data that does not (only) concern you will be rejected. The Personal Data Protection Act also provides that you have the right to rectify factual inaccuracies or to have them rectified. A request to amend data that does not show that the data was factually incorrect or that the requested amendment makes the data factually correct will therefore not be granted. Nor will we comply with every request to delete data. In some cases, we are legally obliged to keep certain information (tax legislation). In addition, we may postpone your request in connection with ongoing proceedings, for example because the information you provided is necessary for the delivery of the products ordered.

Changes to the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy

This privacy policy and cookie policy are subject to change. Please check this page regularly to see if any changes have been made. If we make any material changes, we will notify you, for example through our newsletters, websites or by email.
